Honor as we all know  is an abstract concept entailing a perceived quality of worthiness and respectability that affects both the social standing and the self-evaluation of an individual or institution such as a family, school, regiment or nation.

base on these facts Ghanaian Rapper known in real life as Jocob Kwame Etroo but popularly known in the Ghanaian showbiz fraternity as Quata Budukusu has composed and recorded a full length song to show his respect and love for both the Ashanti Kingdom and the late Queen Mother of Ejisu Yaa Asantewaa.the song is actually on the Quantum LP album which was released just this year and already topping charts both within and out side Ghana. get the full album on all the online stores globally.

though Quata Budukusu is not from the Ashante land yet still he  has the believe that being a musician or as a national asset his responsibilities moves beyond belonging to one tribe but rather focus on the agenda of hoisting high the flag of Ghana through his God given talent.the song is dubbed Yaa Asantewaa, obviously we can all attest to the fact that the name Yaa Asantewaa is a house hold name but amazingly Quata Budukusu really dived  deep into the history of Yaa Asantewaa with the adowa riddim was just on point especially the flow and the kind of style Budukusu exhibited on the beat could just call for repetitions!!!!

Highlife legend, Kwaisey Pee has disclosed that despite his love for Sarkodie, the rapper has become very disrespectful and arrogant after gaining fame.

According to Kwaisey Pee, the 2007 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards best Male Vocalist of the Year, it was Sarkodie’s talent that earned him a feature on his song “Br3 Br3” but doesn’t want to talk about Sarkodie anymore.

After Kwaisey Pee’s interview with Kumikasa.com, it emerged that Kwaisey Pee is peeved because of his failed attempt to feature Sarkodie on the ‘Brɛ Brɛ’ video. In a conversation with Kumikasa, he lamented‘I wanted to shoot a video for ‘Brɛ Brɛ‘ but Sarkodie didn’t make it happen. He always give me excuses of being busy, whenever i call him. He will sometimes give his phone to people to tell me, Sarkodie is busy and will call me back but my calls were never returned. There was even a time he told me he is in America, so I decided to send him money so that he can shoot his part there because of his busy schedules but all in vain. I don’t know why Sarkodie treated me that way but he will regret and cry one day for refusing to feature on that video’, Kwaisey Pee cursed.

Well, Kwaisey Pee isn’t the only artiste to talk about Sarkodie’s arrogant attitude when you need him for featuring. On records, Yemi Alade, Nigerian Afro Pop songstress Yemi Alade, Flowkingstone, Quata Budukusu, et  at a point in time shared same sentiment about the Ghanaian  rapper.

One of Ghana's Finest Dj Toyoo

Without a second thought every Ghanaian youth can attest to the fact that Dee Jay Toryor Known in real life as Raphael Ekow Jonah is one of the finest djs Ghana can boast of so far as disk jockey is concern,  the year 2018 marks  10-years  since he started his career as a professional disc jockey in the Ghanaian Showbiz industry, many sees him as the next Dj Black  to represent Ghana in  the world  at large.

"Years ago, I  enrolled at Data Link University, Tema to offer a degree programme course to add up to my High School qualification same time   Adom FM started offering radio opportunities to successful applicants who will love to do  part-time on their radio so I bought the  form and joined. Fortunately for me through that I  met Papa Bills in the year 2007 where he started grooming  me so far as  my disc jockey talent is concerned  God been so good after some time I was fit in  as a  professional DJ.  Through him (Papa Bills) I had the chance to have come closer to Okyeame Kwame who happens to be the biggest artist in Ghana at that time.

Meanwhile I am also grateful to folks like Andy who along the journey also nurtured and introduced me into the disc jockey profession because as at that time he {Andy} was the personal Dj for Okyeame Kwame, so I Joined the team and through that I learnt a lot to add up to my  career as a Dj  because like I sai earlier okyeame Kwame was very instrumental  so the team was almost seen on all the big shows across the country and beyond.
Been a smart and also very dedicated to the profession after taking lessons from all these moguls young budding Dj Toryor   took the whole thing to another level where all  the time he appears on  every events gatherings like corporate parties, Weddings  just to mention a few . Now diving a little into 2008, where the legendary TicTac, my own cousin, dropped his hit single titled Boswe . I was his personal DJ. This opened another remarkable chapter as journey to success proceeds; it then exposed me to blisses of opportunities in other African countries like Nigeria, Ethiopia etc.

He then commenced networking with Nigeria's topmost celebrity  include Dj Jimmy Jatt who also help me made contacts with other top musicians, Djs, Actors and Comedians in Nigeria.  And I must say These made me stand out tall among my peers or my colleague Djs  in Ghana, just a quick one  I now serve as a middle man to most  Nigerian celebrities when they want to make contact with folks in Ghana, the likes of Don jazzy and the Mavins, Olamide, Timaya, Phyno, Khuli Chana, Casper Nyovest & AKA are part of the list of celebrities am highly connected to He fumed.

He also worked with Okay fm. Which later he was moved to Hit Fm to serve as the official dj on Choir Master's show called hitmania. Not ending there, he later joined Empire fm in Takoradi and then back to Radio xyz in Accra. Currently, DJ Toyor is a mobile Dj and has been nominated four times in the Ghana Dj Awards as a mobile dj and once in the Artist Dj category. Though none of these nominations has won him any award, Dj Toyor is highly ambitious and certain on winning an award in this year's Ghana djs Award 2018 since this year marks both his 30th birthday & 10-year anniversary as a professional disc jockey. Finally I will love to thank my fans in Ghana Africa and beyond for the massive support, big ups to top notch folks like Phyno,Olamide and likes for the video endorsements.

Ghanaian Actress and Singe Juliet Ibrahim has come out to say that Shatta wale’s songs are not played in Nigeria like other Ghanaian Artisites.

We know Juliet Ibrahim is mostly based in Nigeria  because of her boyfriend, IceBerg slim.According to her , the frequently played Ghanaian songs are from sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Becca. It was quite surprising Shatta wale’s name was excluded from the list of most played songs in Nigeria. She said this in an interview with Hitz Fm’s Andy Dosty.

She was later asked if she hears songs from  Self acclaimed dancehall king but her response was a big ‘NO’. She added that she has never heard a shatta wale song being played in Nigeria.well is it an evidence that Shatta wale is a local Champion ?

The furore over why there was a deficit in Ghanaian artistes at the CAF African Footballer of the Year awards on Thursday has taken a new twist as event sponsors, Aiteo, have apologized to superstar artiste, Shatta Wale. They have done so over their inability to make sure he performed on the night, as was previously agreed.

As one of Ghana's most prominent acts, the musician was seen as the torch-bearer for the nation on a platform where no less than seven Nigerian artistes performed on the night, with token appearances from acts from Togo (Toofan) and Congo (Fally Ipupa). This comes on the heels of local uproar at the lack of respect shown to Ghana's grace for hosting the event, which compelled the President of CAF to apologize, and demand an explanation from the sponsor.Shatta Wale himself has alleged that some shady monetary dealings compelled him not to perform on the day. Aiteo broadened their apology to the people of Ghana as well in the statement issued on Saturday afternoon.

CAF AWARDS - A CLARIFICATION

Following the hugely successful CAF Awards event on Thursday, 4 January 2018, we feel constrained to offer both clarification and explanation as to the circumstances that led to the non-involvement of one national performer in the entertainment aspect of the event.

We start, in the first and primary instant, by apologizing for non-outing of Ghana music star Shatta Wale at the event.

This omission, contrary to some reported media accounts, was not deliberate.  Far from it. Shatta is an artiste whose work and reputation we continue to hold in the exalted heights that he has attained.  It is this appreciation that to led to his inclusion amongst those listed to perform.  That this did not happen did not occur through any actions on the part of the organisers. As sponsors charged with the implementation of various parts of the arrangements on the day, we take responsibility for the omission and offer our unreserved apologies to the Government and good people of Ghana.  We are, nevertheless, able to confirm that every arrangement was made for Shatta Wale to appear and perform at the event. Constraints beyond our control caused an enforced departure from that scheduling. The circumstances that brought about this situation are deeply regretted.

It is indisputable that we, as a company, hold His Excellency, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo and the Government and good people of Ghana in the highest esteem.  This appreciation is evident in the dispatch with which the choice of Ghana as hosts was made; our commitment to deployment of considerable domestic support in organizing and delivering the event; the high level of commercial activity directly impacting the immediate community by the event as well as the significant and well deserved enhancement of Ghana’s standing in the global football community.  These were all the factors that we as an organization earmarked as irreducible minimums in electing to stage the event in Ghana.  We can say, with some assuredness, that those objectives were substantially achieved.  It is important to note that even within the entertainment aspect of the programme, Ghanaian interest was very visibly represented in one half of the presenting team for the event.

We take this opportunity to reiterate our most profound gratitude to His Excellency, President of the Republic of Ghana, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo for greatly enhancing the stature of the event not only by his presence but his impressive display of knowledge of Ghanaian, African and world football. His Excellency enraptured a world audience with his vast knowledge and we cannot thank him enough. We also wish to appreciate, especially former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Dr Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR of Nigeria, former President John Jerry Rawlings of Ghana and his wife, the First Lady-designate of Liberia, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, Nigeria, FIFA Secretary General Fatima Samora, members of the Ghana Federal Executive Council, the leadership of CAF, the Ghanaian Football Association and Nigeria Football Federation. We are very proud to have been involved in this event with such distinguished and accomplished company.  We recognize the errors that occurred and pledge our commitment to making necessary adjustments in future.
